Trainee Driver Qualifications

  • Successfully completed CDL training with an approved CDL Training Center (160 hours or more)
  • Must have GPA Score of 90% or better
  • Minimum age of 23
  • CDL with Hazmat Endorsement in state of residence
  • No serious violation in the last three (3) years (FMCSR 383.5)
  • Speeding 15 mph or more over posted speed limit
  • Reckless Driving
  • Improper or erratic lane change
  • Following too closely
  • A violation arising in connection with a fatality or other similar serious violations
  • No more than one (1) at fault accident during the last three (3) years
  • No more than three (3) minor violations during the last three (3) years, with on more than two (2) in the last twelve (12) months
  • No DUI or DWI convictions in the past five (5) years
  • No Felony convictions
